I wouldn’t be able to survive in the wild without glasses. I wouldn’t be able to survive anywhere without glasses actually.
First off, I’m blind as a bat. I’m lost without some kind of visual help. Litterally. I don’t recognize anyone or anything, I just can’t see.
econdly, I have light and extra sensitive eyes. I can’t open my eyes if there’s too much light, and I get the most terrible headaches.
Add my job on top of all this, that basically consists of spending my days in front of a computer, and you get the perfect cocktail for tired eyes. So you can imagine that glasses are pretty much vital to me !
For the reading and seeing side of it, I’m wearing contact lenses everyday, which is why you rarely see me wearing glasses on the blog. But, as I was saying, my eyes are extra sensitive so I can’t keep them all day, and I have to put on my reading glasses, which are always with me in my bag, just in case.
For the sunny and light side of it, I’m the kind of person wearing sunnies in winter. The light is even worse in winter than it is in summer for me, mostly because of those big extra white clouds that litterally make me blind. In order to avoid big migraines and visual fatigue, I also always wear a pair of sunglasses in my bag.
So, now you know all of this, you can imagine how crazy I was when lovely Pauline from L’Usine à Lunettes offered me to discover their trendy selection of reading and sun glasses, only sold online and without any middleman, allowing them to offer extremely competitive prices.
At L’Usine à Lunettes, there’s everything you can find at your local optician, that is to say reading glasses and sun glasses, a large choice, classical options and personnalized advices. Only difference, beside the fact that it is an e-shop, is the price. Last time I went to my optician for a pair of Ralph Lauren reading glasses, I paid 300€, which hurt a lot ! At L’Usine à Lunettes, even if you take the most pricy pair and all the better options, you can take two for the same price. Which is pretty nice, right ?!
What I loved the most about L’Usine à Lunettes is the huge selection of frames ! There are styles for everyone, some more classical and some completely crazy ! I could buy 20 of these right now !
On top of that, there’s a very large choice of different options, for every budget and every need, and a super cool selection of accessories like wipes and boxes. I am so in love with my pink flamingo wipe, it’s completely crazy, right ?!
It’s super easy to order, you just have to download your prescription or to fill it yourself, choose the frame you like, your options and accessories, and that’s done. You’ll just have to wait for your pair to be made specially for you and to receive it directly at your place 🙂
I want to show you my two pairs in different universe they remind me off :
Sunday cocooning at home with a good magazine, a candle and some chocolate for my reading glasses.
A day at the beach with a pretty bathing suit and some fresh lemonade for my sunglasses.
I hope you’ll like the pictures, and check out the end of the article for some nice surprise !
