If you’ve stayed updated on what’s been going on here, we spent a very short weekend in Strasbourg a few weeks ago, a very improvised and improbable weekend (see my last article). I really fell in love with the city, it’s really charming, breathtakingly beautiful (god, that cathedral is quite something to see…) and quite dog friendly, which is pretty important as Joey was with us for the weekend !
I decided to try vloging, as I was quite fond of those I could see. It was my first, so I know it’s far from perfect but I really wanted to share all those moments I enjoyed filming. I speak a bit in French, but most of it is just videos so you can still enjoy it if you feel like it ! I’ll leave you there with the video and photos I took, and we’ll meet up at the end for all the addresses you need 🙂
Two weeks ago, we left on an improvised roadtrip to visit Strasbourg, thanks to my dear love who felt like offering me a bike for my birthday, even though I don’t know how to ride one. Yes, I am 22, and I don’t know how to ride a bike. That’s said.
Now, you might wonder what’s the link between Strasbourg, a roadtrip, and a bike ?! Well, theoretically, there’s none. The fact is the said bike was in Strasbourg, it should have been delivered by a professionnal, but that person had to close down, and the seller couldn’t make the delivery by herself, so we decided to come and get it by our own means, with our car. And voila ! That’s how you can link Strasbourg, a roadtrip and bikes !
We decided to make time to explore the city, that none of us knew and that really looked gorgeous. We never say no to discovering new parts of our beautiful country, so we took a small hotel room so we could spend the night and enjoy two very short days there. We took Joey with us, and left to discover the Alsace region. Only negative thing from this trip was that we couldn’t stay longer ! The city is absolutely stunning, life is good and so is food !
Anyway, we took some time to shoot an outfit near the Rhin, in the beautiful Petite France historical area. A very comfy and easy outfit, perfect to stride along the pedestrian streets of the city 🙂
Today we’re going to talk about what’s new in my appartement with a video haul about home decor and what I bought on March at Monoprix, Hema and at a vintage fair 🙂
I know the video is in French without subtitles, but I mostly talk about french brands, I don’t know if you could find them anywhere else. So I took a few ambiance pictures so that you English readers will still be able to enjoy some of my new finds ! Hope that you will like it 😉
