Hair is like a wild animal. You need to get to know it really well to be able to tame it, but even when it’s done, it remains wild and unpredictable. You wake up one morning and it just won’t behave and get in shape. I kinda think that’s what happened during this shoot.
And it’s funny too, I don’t know about you, but everytime I finally decide to get myself a haircut, the day of my appointment, my hair is suddenly disciplined and well-behaved, like if it knew I was going to send it away to the slaughterhouse. And I feel it’s kinda cruel, like if that wild animal wasn’t so wild after all, like maybe I could work with it some more, like maybe it wasn’t necessary to cut it up. But the appointment has been taken, there’s not turning back. So I just suck it up, say goodbye and go !
All these pretty metaphores to say that my hair looks terrible on these photos, and that’s probably what got me to get a new haircut right after. So this is my last outfit post starring this particular mane 😉

The thing is, you have to find the right hairdresser. The one who’ll make you forget about that old lion you have on your head, and that will give you back a brand new cub you’ll get to know once more. The one you just trust with your life and never makes you regret your decision. I had her. That girl who just got what I wanted instantly and who always got me to leave the salon with the biggest smile and the most awesome haircut. But now she’s gone, so I’m struggling to find a new one. I hope it’s not like your soulmate or something, I hope there’s more than one 😉
Enjoy your weekend, and see you next week 🙂
